We have been following this little girl since she was 3 months old. What a fun year it has been and what a little cutie pie she has grown into. She celebrated her 1st birthday this past weekend and I was there to capture some of the moments. I love the pink and black tutu and the mirror (thank you dad for taking it off the wall for us!!). On a little side note…. I think I mentioned this before but sticking with the same photographer for years to come with children is so wonderful. Not only for the kids, but for the parents too! Once children get used to someone they enjoy spending time with then they are ready for pictures!! When I show up after being at a few sessions with these little ones they know me and are ready to shine! It makes the time less stressful for the parents, as well. We all get to know each other, they can kick back and relax while I take the kids and do my stuff. Yes, it’s much easier sometimes to get those fabulous images when mom and dad are not around (they are around… just around the corner:)). Shopping for a good photographer is just like shopping for the right pair of shoes… you will know if they are a perfect fit the min. you put them on (meet them!!).

On Wed. it was time for little “L”s 4 mth session. She is so precious and really likes to move! She is almost sitting up and is very strong. I can already imagine what our 8 mth session is going to be like (lots of running around for me:))! At 4 mths babies (even active babies) can’t really do a whole lot of real movement except roll over (and over and over). “L” kept me on my toes. I just love this family, though. If I had all the time in the world I could be friends with my clients and just hang out all day (if we had more than 24 hours in a day… wouldn’t that be wonderful:)).
