I will be out of the office for a few days visiting one of my favorite places and some of my favorite people! I will be back to work July 6th and will return all e-mails and voicemails at that time. I have a few sessions out in the beautiful state of CO, as well and I will be doing some much needed R&R (much needed!!!). Have a safe and happy 4th and when I get back I have an amazing senior to post, the sessions from CO and I will be doing a newborn on the 6th (we just did her maternity shoot so scroll down a bit or check the archives for that matter b/c I have been posting like crazy lately)! This family is so great. They are letting me come just days after the birth (I love that!!). No, it’s not my cutie patootie nephew and yes, you get to see him right now (plus more with his newborn session coming when I return too!).

Here is one where he is just looking at me and then one to show you how big this guy is (check out how big his hands are). He was almost 11 lbs (just shy a couple ounces). Enjoy! He is 2 hours old here….

This couple has been married 7 years! It was so fun to capture their life and love together last week. We spent the morning on the plaza, walked around sharing life and talking pictures. We got some really great stuff. This felt like an engagement session b/c the love these two share looked so new to me when I was shooting! They have been married 7 years and still act like newly weds. Thank you for contacting me to capture your life. What a great idea!

Check out this cutie pie! She is almost 2 and was so much fun to run around with last week. When we first got to the park she would not leave mom’s side but I decided to play a little game of peek a boo in the weeds and water with her and she warmed up! Once she warmed up to me the rest of the session was so fun. We played in the water, ran over the bridge (a lot) and then we played in the flower garden. The images are amazing. You have to watch the slide show on this one.

On a side note, my brother and sister in law welcomed their second little boy (big boy…. almost 11 lbs!!) this morning! I was their to capture the little guy when he was 2 hours old!! I can’t wait to share and I am sure you will see a lot more of him as he grows. I will do a “real” newborn session with him in about a week so stay tuned for some amazing stuff!!

I guess every now and then you get a slice of my life through this blog. It is my business blog, so I tend to lean towards sticking to business but I find people enjoy a little slice of life every now and then. I know I do! Well, we are selling a car here at the Miller home. My hubby got a new job a couple months ago and he gets a car with his new job, so the Nissan Altima has to go. It’s in great shape! It’s a little under 2 years old and if you want anymore information let me know! I am attaching a pic of it. Yes, it’s not the best picture but at least you know it’s clean. For those of you who know my husband he tends to more on the clean side of life (a good thing most of the time:)). Let me know if you are interested. I am also posting a fun image from this weekend. I love seeing my boys at work. They live outside and are always working on some project. This is such a cute image and let’s just say the picnic table wasn’t the only thing my little guy painted…. he was enjoying the paint and I will leave it at that….

Boys will be boys. That is what they say anyway and I might have to agree to disagree with whoever came up with this phrase. Last Thursday I met up with these three boys on the farm. At first they were a little skeptical of me and my big black camera, but they warmed up after a while. As we walked the farm, sat by barns and silos, jumped in fields, sat on decks, hung our feet in the water, chased geese and ended up on a big blue truck I asked their mom if they were always this good. These three boys were like model students (I used to be a teacher) through the entire session. If I ever go back maybe next time they will get a little crazy. No, I really enjoyed our session. They made my job so easy and I love it when sessions run this smooth (and with three boys!!). The images we captured are amazing and that is what matters!

It was so nice to meet you guys. You were a joy to be around. I want you to come along to all my sessions with kids and show them all how a session should go. I asked mom if she talked to them before the session or fed them something to make them behave the way they did…. I got a smile from her:)!

You were amazing to work with! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for being so good…..
