we sold the car!

Okay, I had to post this really quick before I head to bed. We sold the Altima!! I am posting this b/c the person who bought the car Rebecca hasn’t posted it on her blog yet and I know she is dying to tell every one about her cool new car!!! So I am posting for you, honey:)! She is a friend and fellow photographer here in KC (check out her stuff!!). She gets excited about all the little things or big things in life like me and likes to share it (like me)….. She was reading my blog and came across the car for sale. She came by and took it for a spin and now it’s hers! I am so happy it went to a great person (b/c it was a great car… we miss it already).

On another note I am getting a Garmin Nuvi 255W and I can’t be more excited. For those of you who know me I am directionally challenged and so this is going to save my life. This little guy is going to tell me exactly where to go. Not only will it tell me to turn a direction it will speak it to me and it will say the street name too (I can even take it running, if I want to). See I get a little excited about the little things, but if you are a close friend or relative reading this you know this is the best thing for me:)!

I am almost done editing my senior! Here is an image until the sneak peek tomorrow. Enjoy!

Oh, my hubby is still hanging in there. He is still in a lot of pain and on heavy meds. Keep praying he gets better soon. Life around here needs to get back to normal soon :) . Thanks for all your cards, gifts, e-mails and prayers!

The 4th and a few sneak peeks

As you might have noticed I have not been blogging much lately. You know me I am usually posting like crazy but things around our home took an unexpected turn of events with my hubby going into the hospital for a few days. I was by his side almost the entire time and that required lots of help from our wonderful family and friends with our kiddos (thank you all again for who you are… we have the best family and friends in the world!!). We are still unsure when the stone will pass and he is still in pain, but not in the hospital anymore. He is home and I can play nurse now. Hopefully everything will pass soon and he can have his stint removed and get back to life. Keep praying!!

Here are some fun images from our 4th of July (the day before the trip to the hospital). We have a WONDERFUL neighborhood. They have welcomed us with open arms and we will even be camping at the lake with some of them soon! There are also a few images from my sessions in CO. I had to post an image from each session b/c I know they are all dying to see them. I also have a ton from CO, but those will have to wait. I have a lot on my plate and my personal images always sit until I can find the time to edit them:)!

Again, thank you all for you! Enjoy the images! I have 6 sessions coming up starting tomorrow and then I have tons to post so stay tuned! “K” your senior images are coming and the wedding I did back in June is being processed, as well. Lots of fun stuff ahead!

Here is one of my peeks from CO!!

Hospital

Things around here are a little out of the norm right now. My hubby went to the emergency room Sat with a BIG kidney stone, ended up being admitted and had surgery today (not fun). He is doing better and life should get back to normal in a few days. The stone was to big for him to pass alone. We will know more after the doc reads the x-ray tomorrow wether or not he broke it up enough for him to pass now (yes, he still has the little stinker in his body). They say the pain is worse than child birth…yikes!!

Thank you to all our friends and family who have helped us out these past few days. You are blessings in our life and amazing for all your help!!! I can’t thank you all enough. We are truly blessed to have so many people who are so helpful and so many who keep calling and offering.

Also, thank you to all of you who are being so patient with your images and for the rescheduling of sessions. I truly feel blessed to have the job I have b/c even some of my clients offered up help. You are all AMAZING people!!

I have so much to share with all of you. The vacation, 4th of July and so many sessions. Once my family is back in tip top shape I will be back to work. I am going to get some rest so I can play nurse tomorrow:)!
