While back home I had the honor to meet this wonderful family. Come to find out as our session progressed (in 102 heat!) they are from here! They have been in GB for about 10 years now, so it’s home for them but what a small world. I am a small town girl. I have a small town heart and I think in my own home I live in a small town world…:)… until I leave the house and get in my car and realize I don’t live in a small town anymore! For those of you who know me you can just laugh at my last sentence:)! Anyway, we had a great session. As great as it can get when it’s an oven outside:)! They were troopers, had smiles on the entire time and as you can see from the pictures I had my work cut out for me with 4 little ones… who found two baby bunnies and had to climb the rock mountain to check them out. If the top of the mountain would have been big enough we could have done our entire session up there b/c the bunnies were all the entertainment these kids needed for the afternoon. They were mesmerized by them. SO you can see the image of them looking over the bridge… I told them there were fish in the little puddle underneath which took them away from the bunnies for a while. They soon realized there weren’t any fish (b/c fish can’t swim in a puddle) and they were back up the mountain to check out the bunnies.
I love my job! It was nice to meet you guys. Thank you for a great session. Enjoy your slide show HERE!
On another note: we are back from Florida. It was AMAZING! Now, before I go any further…. It was AMAZING BUT it was so humid there! I kept asking myself every morning after my 3 mile run (yes, on vacation my husband and I LOVE to run, run and run some more b/c we don’t get to do it that often together with 2 kids) if I was still alive. The heat and humidity could really do someone in out there. I am not going to say another bad thing about it b/c we were pampered beyond pampered for 4 days and came back RESTED and RELAXED…..it was just what the doctor ordered. My parents had the kids for 6 days too and they didn’t want to come home. They had so much fun and so did we so it was a great way to end the summer (school starts next week and we are back to a routine again…ugh). Oh, one last thing… I don’t have any pix to post BECAUSE my hubby was in charge of grabbing the charger before we headed out the door (to board a PRIVATE JET.. yes, I could go on but it would make you all jealous b/c we had the best weekend EVER… can I just say I hate to fly but when you get to avoid airports it makes the trip that much better!) and he grabbed the wrong one! SO we have one picture of us in our hotel room and none of the beautiful places we saw…. you will have to imagine palm trees, plants that we grow in our homes that grow outside there (maybe b/c of the humidity that makes you feel wet all the time!) and ice blue water….. it was a great time.
Now we are back to work. Fall is in the air and things will get really busy around here but we love it! I have a plethora of sessions to post so stay tuned and thanks for all your patience these past couple weeks on your images… they will be well worth the wait!
