August 11th, 2008we did!!

I know you guys are waiting for the sneak peek from Wyoming and it is ready!! These two were so much fun (and so were their wedding party and family). I flew to Wyoming to capture “M” and his beautiful wife “N” on their wedding day. It was a casual morning as we all woke up, got some coffee and “M” drove the kids around on his four wheeler. Then we headed over to the hotel where “N” was staying and getting ready for her big day. The details were fabulous. She was beautiful and the day was about to begin! I love ultimate day coverage b/c I get to spend the entire day with the bride and groom and capture every moment of the day. And that is just what I did.

The slide show will give you a snippet of their day from the four wheeler ride, the ring shots, the bride getting ready, a few formal shots, the church and then the reception. This is only the beginning of what is to come. Enjoy the sneak peek! Thank you for flying me out to capture your day and for everything you did for me while I was out there.

August 6th, 2008out of the office

I will be out of the office until the evening of Aug 10th. I will be on a beach, sitting in a chair with my hubby (well, more than likely he will have his own chair, but you get the picture) and RELAXING (something I am not very good at these days). I am taking my camera but ONLY to take fun photos (maybe of the two of us together:)!!). I will have some to share when we get back!! Thank you everyone who is helping us out while we are away. We are thankful for all of you! Our big white lab thanks you too!!

Enjoy the images until I return. These are from two sessions this week. One of them was Monday when it was 100 out and the other was Tuesday when it was 90 out. YEP, we were hot but the kiddos did so well.

I have a lot of sessions to post when I get back. All you Great Benders thank you for your patience on your images and all of you KCer’s thank you too! I have been traveling a lot lately so thank you, thank you, thank you!!

WOW! That is all I have to say about this little girl. She melted me. She is two years old and you would have never guessed it. She danced for me, played peek a boo and just took our session in. This is when images are fabulous… when kids are kids and you just follow them around and capture them in the moment. I love my job! I love capturing moments like these.

Thank you guys for an amazing session. Thank you for letting me capture little “S”. She is precious!

Here is another one of my Great Bend sessions and wow what a fun pair these two were. We met at the Convent in GB and had fun running all over, jumping off bridges and just hanging with mom. Thank you guys for a fantastic session. It was nice to meet you. I look forward to putting together a fun collage for you with these images.

On another note…..

CHRISTMAS… did I say CHRISTMAS???? Yes, it will be here before you know it. If you want to take images from any of your sessions this year and put them on a custom designed card (by me!) we can do that! Cards are all unique and I will design a style that will work for you. OH, and don’t forget if you place your prints orders within the first 30 days of your online proofs being released you receive FREE REPRINTS! These make great gits! You can keep one for you and give the other away. The free prints are only on images sized 3.5×5 – 12×18. Larger sizes, custom cards, books, albums and canvas/art prints do not apply.

There will be more to come regarding the Holiday’s so stay tuned! I have a few people mixing it up this year and doing Halloween cards (so fun!) and some are waiting and doing Valentine cards b/c their session falls really late this year, but still it’s a great idea. New Years is another way to send your well wishes too!

One last thing…. I am sad to say I am booked for the year. I thought I should post this b/c I am turning people away right and left (and that makes me sad). I really want to fit all of you in, but my life doesn’t allow it. I will be taking the ENTIRE month of Dec OFF to revamp the business and to spend some much needed quality time with the fam. I have 2 sessions booked already but that is all I will book this year. If a month of your baby package falls in Dec I will still capture your little one:). I already have 6 sessions booked in Jan and a few next spring. If you are thinking spring sessions 2009 or senior sessions 2009 call me this winter b/c those sessions will fill fast. Thank you for all your interest in my work!! I am truly blessed to have the job I do and to share life with all of you.

Last week I went back to my home town to visit and take pictures of a few families and friends. I always take the kids home for the summer for a week so they can spend time with Grandpa and Grandma. Well, this summer we planned our trip around one of my good friends baby being born.

This little gal was born July 16th, so she was brand new and oh how I love them small. She was a little fussy but we worked with her and got some amazing images. Grandma was there (she was like another mom when I was growing up) and she helped out so much. She put all our little props together and was just the best help! If she lived in KC I would hire her to be my assistant at shoots!

I am so thankful for this family and their friendship. They are amazing people and are going to have an amazing little girl. I love you guys! I love that every time we we get together it’s like no time has passed at all. That is what good friends are all about! Thank you for the great morning last weekend. she was a mover so it took all we could to get this image… usually at this age they will lay still, but not this little one… she has a mind of her own already:)!
