I hope you are all having a Happy Sat.! I know I am. This is the first day in a LONG time (a few weeks) that I have felt almost back to normal health wise (AMEN!). I have been sick for a while now and I think this last round of antibiotics is working! Sleep is in the near future for me so that will help too. Busy season is winding down:)! I had two AMAZING sessions this morning in the COLD, but they chose my FAVORITE location (downtown) and we had a blast running around in the cold capturing some fun images for Christmas cards this year. If you guys are reading this THANK YOU for bearing the cold with me. I will have a few images posted by tomorrow for you to see.
Oh, Christmas came a little early for me this year. My stocking has been stuffed and a few early gifts are under the tree (this would be fitting if our tree was actually up…. that happens this week… it was a fun little saying though!). Check out the image below. I have a few new things to play with. Now, I am an “L” series lens girl (for all you photogs out there) but since I have a few of those I thought I would purchase a couple cheaper lenses since I won’t use them as much. I am excited to play around with the 100 macro (GREAT CLOSE UP SHOTS!), the nifty fifty (I want the 50mm L SO SO bad but have the 85/1.2 so just couldn’t justify it so I went with this one!) and my favorite new toy… the lensbabies . I can’t wait to play with this at my next wedding. It’s so cool!
One last thing… the images posted on this blog are for you to enjoy. They are not to be copied, duplicated or printed (they are low resolution so when they are used for any other purpose than viewing out here the quality gets diminished). I water mark them so they stay safe out here on the internet. It’s ILLEGAL to copy images from photographers sites. I don’t want to start putting my watermark dark and big over these images so please just view them out here and if you want a print or a file they can be purchased from me:)! Thanks!

This was my last family on Sunday and they were fun to hang with too! I met them in Parkville and we had a great session. And from the looks of the images below you would never guess we only had a good 10 min (if that) with little “C”. I know how important it is to shoot like crazy with little kids the min I meet them b/c you never know how they will act during a session:)! Usually I can pull a lot of tricks out of my hat and they work for most kiddos but little “C” was done with the session right from the start. We don’t think he felt 100% either but Mom and Dad we still managed to get some amazing images!! Thank you, thank you for all of the rescheduling we had to encounter to get this shoot done too. IT was so nice to finally meet you and share life with your for a bit on Sunday:).

Here is another family I met on Sunday! They drove in from Baldwin City so we hung out for an hour at the park and captured their life. Brother and sister are already great friends and have this bond that most of these images portray. They were all so nice and so loving to each other and it was a pleasure to capture this time in their life for them. As we walked through the park we found benches, rocks to sit on, ducks swimming all around us so of course we had to make animal sounds and we just explored all that life had to offer in the time we were together. Some of the best images are the ones you don’t even realize are being captured and this session was FULL of those.
It was so nice to meet you guys! I had a great time hanging out and sharing life. Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!
