My good friend and her family were in town this past weekend. Her little gal was ready for her 4 month session so it worked out perfect. We decided to capture the families too while they were all together. They were staying down at the plaza so I met them down there early Sat. morning. Little “K” was such a good baby. I was there for almost two hours and never heard a peep from her. 4 months is a harder age to capture b/c they aren’t sitting up yet and they can’t interact with you as much as a 6-9 month old can but she gave us some great looks and we captured some great images of her. I love the ones of her and mom. Check out the slobber picture below (she was a slobber baby and I love the image of mom kissing her and the drool is just coming out of her mouth).

Thank you for a great session! I will be making flush mount albums from two of their previous sessions and this one (a great way to showcase a lot of images in one place). I can’t wait to get started on them. I will see you at Easter for her 8 month.

December 7th, 2008little snippet

I am taking most of Dec off from shooting, but have a few babies (from grow with me plans) that fell in this month. Here are two of them! There will be more on them this week. I know I have been slacking on the blogging but things here are still super busy. The deadline for all Holiday orders is this WED. I have a few New Years cards I will be working on and later this month I will post some cards that were designed this year (once I know they are all out) and news about next year. So I will continue to keep the images coming and anything exciting happening around here.

As 2008 comes to a close don’t forget to take time to enjoy this time of year. We all know it can get crazy with everything we have to do. Just enjoy all that you have right now and be thankful for everyone around you. I say this b/c I get caught up in the midst of the Holiday busyness and I try to remember what is important about this time of year and celebrate that instead of trying to get everything done all at once (b/c it will get done). Thank you all of my faithful readers! I want you to know I appreciate you. Have a great week!

December 2nd, 200822 shopping days until Christmas – ordering deadlines!!

Here is a little info if you are still want cards this year gifts….

My product line comes from a variety of companies and some take longer in production than others, so order deadlines are staggered. If you’re considering gifting prints or storyboards this holiday you have until December 10th to place your final order. Holiday cards may also be ordered up until December 10th to ensure arrival before Christmas. IMPORTANT: Canvas orders, however, are due TOMORROW – December 3rd. Canvases ordered after this deadline will not be guaranteed for holiday delivery.

Thank you ALL for a WONDERFUL year. I am truly blessed to have you in my life and to do what I LOVE to do. I hope to see you again in 2009 and all the new faces you send my way. Oh, this is not good bye for the year. I have 4 more sessions in 2008 so there will be a few more posts out here as well as all the new things happening for the company.

December 1st, 2008We Will!

We had a BEAUTIFUL fall day here last week. “M” & “A” met me downtown on our 58 degree afternoon to capture their engagement. We were so blessed to have the weather we did (two days later it was snowing… you have to love Kansas weather!). These two were a BLAST to work with. Just check out the images below and you will see the love that emanates from them. They are so happy together and working with them was SO easy. I can’t wait for June when their wedding rolls around. If their wedding is anything like this session the images will be AMAZING! We are going to do an after the day session too and I am already excited about it. Oh, and check out her shoes. I love them! They added that perfect touch to her outfit!
