Winter. Not my favorite season but we make the most of it here in Kansas. I do love the snow, though. I love it when it snows, we don’t have school and we can have a snow day. Well, today was one of those days (almost). I had to go to the gym but that is kind of a snow day for me b/c the kids go to the activities center until I am done running and lifting and that in itself is bliss for me sometimes:)! Then we came back for our snow day until the kids begged me to head outside to play in it. I am okay with playing in the snow and I am all for building a snowman when it’s above freezing out but when it’s 5 degrees outside I am not a fan! SO we went sledding instead. Okay, the kids went sledding and I pulled them (another workout for me today!). I let them go on their own (image below) until my little gal decided it was best mom hold the rope and run them around. Then my little guy made snow angels with his mittens as we were running around and that is when we had to go in. I told them to keep all hands and feet inside the sled (but they didn’t listen).

It was a fun few min out in the snow! We stayed out until we couldn’t feel our noses and then went back in for some hot chocolate and marshmallows. I LOVE SNOW DAYS! Enjoy the images….

Hello everyone! Yes, there has been a slight hiatus from the blog only b/c I have been EXTREMELY busy these past few months. Now that things are wrapping up for 2008 I wanted to share some info with you. I am booking for 2009 and I only have a few slots left in MARCH and MAY. JANUARY and APRIL are BOOKED. I only have one wedding opening for next year too (in AUGUST). Thank you for all of your interest in my work!!

I had a session today with a sweet little 4 month old. I will post her soon! I am also taking some time off from work so things will be very slow out here until mid Jan. If you send me an e-mail or leave me a voice message I will get back to you as soon as I can. I plan on spending some much needed quality time with my family over the next few weeks. I have a session Dec 22nd and two sessions Jan 3rd. I will post all of those images but the rest of the time from Dec. 15th – Jan 18th will be a much needed break for me. I am getting a new blog and brand (VERY EXCITING) and will let you all know about that as they transpire too. There are a lot of new and exciting things happening in 2009 and I can’t wait to share it with you.
