November 6th, 2008Christmas is coming!

There are 51 days left until Christmas! My Holiday deadline for ordering cards is Dec. 5th to ensure they get here in time to mail out for the Holidays. I know I have a lot of sessions this month and if you want to send out New Years cards we can do that too and there is no deadline for those:)! Also, portrait sessions would make a great gift for someone. Let me know if you want to check someone off your list and surprise them with a session.

I want to thank all of you for being to patient this year with your proofs and orders. Normally I like to get my images out within the week of your session but with this being busy season that doesn’t always happen.

Enjoy a little peek of a 3 week old I shot Wed. ADORABLE! And there are many more shots so stay tuned for his sneak peek. I have a beautiful senior peek to get out too, a wedding this Sat and more sessions this weekend so check back for more fun stuff!!

November 4th, 2008two years and 4 weeks old!

This past weekend I met up with this family again. Little “A” and I had fun riding her bike outside, reading books in her bed and helping with her baby brother. We captured her 2 years of age and her brothers 4 weeks of life. I love to write about all of my sessions but I have to keep the words short for the next few weeks b/c I am super busy. It’s crunch time, so thank you for another great session!! Enjoy a few of my favs and a few more HERE!! I love all of you! I love all of my time spent capturing your lives. I feel very blessed to do what I love. More sessions coming, more this week and another wedding!!

You have seen them before! This family started with a grow with me plan when this little gal was 3 months old and now she is 2! I had the opportunity to do something I have never done before with my first session Sat and that was shoot in the fog! And I am not talking a little fog either. If you live in KC you know how low that cloud was and it didn’t lift until I finished the session (11:30!). It was amazing. The images are amazing. This family is amazing. I love my repeat clients. I love watching them grow and catching up every time we get together. Thank you guys for another fantastic session! Enjoy your sneak peek below and a few more HERE!

This weekend was full of great sessions! Here are a few images from each one and the full sneak peeks will be out soon! I met a family in the fog Sat morning and it was so great to get that look. I have never shot in the fog before and the images turned out so great. Then I met a little guy who was a month old and his little sister (jumping on the bed pix below) another repeat family at the park for some fall pix and a senior. “E” and I had a GREAT time down town with the amazing evening light. There are so many more images to post so stay tuned…

Side Note: If you want a newborn session please make sure you schedule a session 1 to 2 weeks after the birth of your child. Typically newborns (full term) are only at the squishy, sleep all the time stage for a couple weeks. The older they get the more alert they are. If you are expecting and want to get on my calendar I will work with you if your little guy/gal comes early or late.

The Holiday season is in the home stretch! I celebrate the Holiday’s for a few months out of the year (I love it!!). My clients can mark a few things off their holiday list too (gifts, cards…). I love my repeat clients too (some wanted to book their session next year now (so cute!)…. my books open Dec for 2009). Thank you for all of your patience during the busy season/
