Last week I met these two at the park. This session was supposed to be a family session but dad had to work so it was just the boys. The phrase “boys will be boys” was truly captured at this session. I love chasing kids. I love being silly, playing games and even turning into a super hero every now and then BUT these two wanted nothing to do with my silliness. They just wanted to go and GO they did. We got some great stuff and if you would have seen me and mom trying to get a pic of the two of these guys together (that was the impossible task of the day) you would have thought we were really crazy (mom even rolled around in the leaves at one point! There was one guy who witnessed our craziness and I wish I had his e-mail to send him the results b/c they turned out great!

October 31st, 2008we did!

It was a beautiful fall day. The sky was clear. The sun was shining and so was the smile on one girls face. “C” was about to marry the man of her dreams. The love in the air Sat was catching!

I spent the entire day with these guys and captured every detail for them. The gals had their hair done at International Hair and Day Spa early Sat. morn. “C” had 8 attendants so the salon was busy and so was my camera. Then we headed to a friends house who lives in this BEAUTIFUL home across from where they were married (Country Club Christian Church). We spent the afternoon there until group pictures started. The bride and groom saw each other for the first time before the ceremony and we captured some AMAZING images of them and of all their friends/family standing up for them. It was such a great day. Thank you for letting me share in your JOY! Thank you for choosing me to capture these memories for you.

My prayer for you is you treasure them every day and use these keepsakes as a reminder of the love you share, the laughter you bring out in one another and all the blessings that lie ahead! Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!!

I have been having trouble with my server so you have to check out the slide show for more images. It kept kicking me off every time I wanted to load another image so you only get these below BUT there are SO many more on the slide show (link in paragraph above).

YES, I am driving behind them and taking a picture while driving… I am pretty sure it’s illegal but I had to have this photo!

October 31st, 2008Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween from the goblins over here!! We have a fun day planned. We love this holiday. We have a costume parade this morning at preschool, chili dinner at our house this evening with friends, a parade in our neighborhood and then LOTS of trick or treating! Hope you all enjoy the great day. Oh, and what a blessing with the weather…70 degrees here in KC!

for the mother of these two boys… we got MORE than a FEW good images yesterday!! I just opened up the first 10 and this is what I found… more to come!! You will have the best Christmas card this year… I PROMISE!

Oh, I love my job! I love fall days with a latte. I love fall days shooting families. I love fall days with my husband and kiddos. Isn’t life good? These guys sure think so! Check out all the smiles. Check out all the fun we had at the park. This is what life is all about. By looking at these photos you might think I asked them to give me all those grins and looks. Nope! With a little help from Grandpa and Grandma and the entire park at their hands they were in charge of our session. From the bridge to the leaves to the bench. What a fun morning. What beautiful girls they are and what a joy they were to be around. They are going to be big sisters next spring too so next year you will see another little “D” out here.
