news about my site

If you are a fire fox user you will not be able to access my website or blog without a little work around. If you are a MAC user I think you will have the same problem. If you use internet explorer you will be able to access all of my information for the time being. I am still waiting for google to unflag me (again this could take weeks). I am in the process of working on upgrading a few things to help with the hackers who like to attack my scripts.

My site DOES NOT have a virues. My blog DOES NOT have a virus. They have all been cleaned up! The only problem now is google. They need to clear me and since I am not the only person with a domain name in the world (I wish I was… lol) then this will take time. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. There are going to be some changes in the near future but these will take some time. I will keep you all aware of what is going on.

A post isn’t complete without an image!! This one makes me smile. Her attitude in this picture says everything is going to be okay. I have spent numerous hours on the back end of my business this week. I know so much more about security on the web than I ever thought I would want to know. I am so glad I know what I know now and I just can’t wait to share all the new stuff with you!!

my hubby the triathlete & web issues

My hubby, the indoor triathlete. I was going to post this sooner but I have been having issues with my site AGAIN. If you get a message that might site has been attacked. It has. It is not a virus, though. My PHP files (I know foreign to some of you) were hacked into and a bunch of mumbo jumbo was written into them. Google got wind of this and has flagged my site now until the files are clean. Well, the cleaning lady came today and cleaned them all up but google will take another 3-4 weeks to verify this happened (nice). With that said I will be up and down for a bit until this issue is resolved. I never thought being a photographer would help me learn so much about the technical world (it’s a good thing I have consulting in my back ground). If you use firefox (the safer way to go) you wil get this message of the attack b/c fire fox and google are a little team. If you use internet explorer you will not have a problem.

I will have to close shop for two days starting the 17th of March for some more work to be done. I will keep you all aware of what is happening. Until everything is back to normal here at JMI enoy these images of my handsome hubby doing what he does best! He got third too! Way to go, hun! Oh, the kiddos were there every step of the way.

Images shot with my new 5D Mark II. All straight from camera too.

2 years old

I just adore this family. I have captured them now for a couple years and every time we get together it’s like no time has passed. The week leading up to the session when I talk to mom on the phone it’s like we are old friends that haven’t missed a beat. I just love that! I also love how their little gal and I have a great time every time we are together. And her smile is contagious!

The best sessions are the ones where the kiddos are in charge (with a little direction). I love their little looks, their interest in the littlest or biggest (trains) things around us. I love how they want to become your best friend in a matter of min and be where you are and follow you every where. These are just a few of the reasons I love capturing little kids. “A” was so cute and so into what we were doing. If I didn’t know she was two, I would have thought she was a lot older. She was a very good listener and did what she was told (another key point to a successful shoot with a toddler – let the photographer interact and hang out with the little ones while mom and dad (or adults along for the session) hang out in the background). Thank you guys for doing just this and allowing me to capture your little girl again.

I can’t wait for this summer to start our grow with me plan with the newest addition to your family! Thank you for another wonderful session. Enjoy a few of my favorites below.

8 months old

It was a beautiful early evening and this little guy was all smiles. He was ready to rock and roll and that we did. I can’t take all the credit for these images. Every time little “A” saw his mom he just lit up and I captured it. It was so sweet. Dad came a little later in the session after he got off work to end with a few family images and a few of the two of them. Again, the little guys eyes lit up so big with dad around. I just love happy families! This family has been so fun to work with too. They are so laid back. They go with the flow and let me use all of my crazy ideas (even with an 8 month old downtown!). Thank you for being the great people you are!

I have to thank them here too b/c dad was running a little behind and I had another session following. Then a train came that stopped us for a bit, but they were troopers and we captured some amazing images!! The ones below are just a few of my favorites. There are so many more and your proofs will be out soon.

It was so good to see you guys again. I will see you in June for our last grow with me session. I love watching these little ones turn into toddlers. Enjoy!
