Yesterday in our 18 degree weather (I am telling you… you have to LOVE Kansas weather….this week here in a couple days it is supposed to be 70 again!). Anyway, we drove up to Manhattan to meet our family for a little K-State woman’s basketball. My cousin, Shalee Lehning, had her jersey retired and we went to celebrate with my family. It was such a fun trip. Shalee has been a sick gal since the start of this year but she played, gave it her all and they came up short BUT it was still fun to see everyone and be there for this special time in her life. She is quite an impressive ball player and will move on in her career when she graduates this spring.
