Matthew | little ones

It was rainy and yucky the day we had this session but you could never tell by the smiles this little guy gave us! I love this family. I wish I could rent out their home for sessions. It’s all windows which makes for great images. AND great images are what we captured last weekend. Matthew is the big 6 months now and his little sister just adores him. I even captured an image of them falling off a table together! She was trying to be such a big help.

Thank you guys for another great session! Enjoy a few of my favorites below and a FEW MORE HERE. I will see you this fall for his 1 year!

back to life!

Things have been slow out here this week b/c I have been sick! I have bronchitis (am slowly getting over it.. AMEN). The meds are working and the rest is helping! My voice finally came back today. This is a good thing b/c I sounded very funny! I have a lot of sessions to post and sneak peeks to get out and hope to get some of them out here soon. I have the best clients in the world too. They completely understood my tardiness this week and didn’t complain one bit. Love you guys!!

On another note, some of you have inquired about the change in my website. You can’t access the images. Well, there is a reason for this. It’s a GOOD reason and in due time you will know why. Good things are coming and changes are taking place. I can’t wait to share them with you! My calendar and pricing in not accessible right now so if you have questions you can still contact me through my website front page. The newness will be up and running soon and it’s going to be FABULOUS!!

A post isn’t complete without an image! Here is a 1 year collage I did for the end of a grow with me plan. What a cutie!!

mindy.ryan | we will

My last session over the Easter break was with this great couple! They will wed in 2010 in Mexico. I am so honored to tag along and capture their weekend for them. If the wedding is anything like our session… it will ROCK!! These guys were so great in front of the camera. People are a little camera shy at first and they wonder how I get some of the images I get. Well, a little secret… I am a little crazy! No, I am not that crazy I just think if you can make someone laugh it brings out the best in them and then WALLA you have a great image! Laughter is the key to a great photo! These two were hamming it up, going with all of my crazy ideas and just having fun. I loved every minute of our jumping out of the car on a hot train track to driving all over God’s country to find our destination. If you have been to the Midwest country you know what I am talking about when I say God’s country!! It’s beautiful and goes on forever. We had a destination in mind (a friend’s cabin) but getting there was another story and these images tell the story. We stopped everywhere along they way and below is a taste of what we got.

Thank you guys for a FABULOUS session. I can’t wait until Jan to capture your big day! You guys were so much fun. Thank you for running with my ideas and for making the long walk to the cabin. Enjoy a few of my favorites below and a few more HERE!

Kaid & Kylee | little bit bigger ones

AMAZING. This is the word that comes to mind when I think of this session. Yes, our session was amazing and the kids wanted to come home with me by the time we were done (b/c I was just so much fun). Kylee kept telling her mom she was having so much fun and Kaid just wanted to come home with me… so cute!! He was in tears once b/c he knew this wasn’t going to happen. This session was AMAZING because little Kaid was with us and able to do the session. He is 3 years old and has brain cancer. The type of cancer this little guy has was not supposed to move to his brain, but it did. He is in remission and full of life, so my good friend (from the session I just posted with little Kya) set up this appointment for them so we could capture these guys right now where they are in life… full of happiness and a nice reminder of LIFE and how it should be lived.

I don’t know this family. I just met them last weekend (and I feel very blessed to know them now) but as I was working on their images I would tear up a bit b/c life is short. We never know what lies ahead but if we keep loving, living and sharing life each and every day to it’s fullest then we are doing exactly what we should be doing and that is LIFE. It is so easy to get caught up in the now and the little demands put on us but this session was a quick reminder that we need to tell people we love them, hug our friends and family and just share life with laughter and love EVERY DAY.

Thank you guys for a FUN session. Thank you for running the grounds, looking in water holes, sitting on cement steps, not falling and breaking a body part (lol) and just playing. I am so blessed to know you. Kaid and Kylee were just a joy to capture and the love they have for life is catching!! Enjoy a few of my favorites below and a FEW MORE HERE!

Kya | little ones

Over Easter weekend I had the opportunity to capture little Kya again. Her mommy and I have been friends since high school. The live in GB so we have it planned that I make it back 4 times in her first year to capture her. Easter was the perfect time to do her latest session and what a session we had. Isn’t she just a little doll! I could have squeezed those cheeks a million times! I just love this family. When I was editing her images it just brought back so many memories and it makes me very thankful for the friendship we still have. I am very blessed to have you guys in my life. Oh, and grandma, thank you for letting us use your home!

I hope you enjoy these precious images! Thank you for another FANTASTIC session. I can’t wait to see you again this summer when she is toddling around and ONE! I have a feeling we will be chasing her all over so make sure you all have your running shoes on.

Here are a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!
