I hope you all had a nice Easter! We had a great weekend with my family (lots of pictures to come, if I can find the time to look at them!!). I also had three sessions while I was home so lots of fun images to share. Last week before the Holiday I met this little gal again for some images with Grandma (who lives in Texas). They turned out so great! Here are a few of my favorites. Thank you guys for a great session. It was nice to hang out with you for the morning and capture Kate’s life with her grandma.

April 9th, 2009Whitney & Blaise | we will!

The love between these two is evident. The laughter they share is contagious. I can’t wait until Oct for their wedding to capture this fun, loving couple. Whitney’s mom booked me months ago, so I had never met Whitney and Blaise until the shoot. My husband works with her mother and she has been to our home and saw my office studio and when her daughter got engaged she called me up! Her sister came along for the session too and we had so much fun! It was windy, the clouds came in and we were threatened by rain but that didn’t stop us. These two were a blast to work with. They were up for anything (I love that!!) and we captured some amazing images for them. Thank you guys for a fantastic session. Thank you for hoping in and out of the car. Thank you for being so flexible with our weather and rescheduling.

They are getting married on her dads land in Manhattan. I hope there is a fun jumping spot b/c they will be up for it! They were so fun….

Today. It was a great day! I had a baby & grandma session this morning. I swap kiddos with a dear friend of mine every other week so it was her turn to have the kiddos for a while today. I got a run in. I got some work done. And this evening I got to watch my little guy play soccer (with some of his good friends). One of them turned 5 today so we celebrated with ice cream after the game. It was a good day!

Below are two images. One is the little gal and her grandma. You saw her 3 month pictures out here about a month and a half ago and grandma is not from here and wanted a session with her so we did that this morning (more on that when the full sneak peek is out). The second image is of my two little ones after the soccer game. I turned around in the car and this is what I saw…. I just love them. I love how they are best buds. I love how they LOVE each other and LOVE life. They are so sweet sometimes and this was one of this sweet moments.

On Saturday morning as the sun was coming up I met this little cutie again for her 8 month session. Her bright blue eyes will melt you, so watch out! We had a great time and she was just a little DOLL! I just wanted to pick her up and squeeze her each time my shutter went off to capture this time in her life. I LOVE my job! I love the people I meet and the love, stories, moments and joy I get to capture in them. Oh, and we had to work for some of those smiles you see below. She was little so mom and dad were near her most of the time SO that meant most of the work was up to me. Let’s just say I got a work out doing all of my jumping jacks that morning! I would love to know what my clients think of all of my crazy antics that get their children to laugh and smile. I am sure they think I am one crazy lady!!

You have seen them before. I started capturing this family when big brother was just a little guy. Now he is growing up and his little brother just finished his grow with me plan! He turned one a couple weeks ago but due to our CRAZY weather we had to reschedule to Friday. He did a fantastic job!! He isn’t walking yet but he is determined to get what he wants and figure out how to get there without walking (so cute!). I also captured a sweet image of his beautiful mommy and him while the sun was making it’s way out of the sky.
