"This evening I captured a wedding for Steve and Kay. It was beautiful, simple, small and just a lovely evening. I can’t wait to post a full sneak peek but wanted to let them see an image before I left town.
I will be leaving for CO tomorrow and returning late Sunday. I am super excited to meet Paula and Mike (the wedding I will be shooting in July). We will be shooting their engagement session in CO and I have two portrait sessions, as well! Lost of fun stuff coming up!

Another session last weekend was this little cutie again. She is 6 months old now and has quite the expressions and smiles. We met at her home again for this session and will venture out in Aug for her 9 month which I can’t wait for. Don’t get lost in her eyes and watch out for all of her looks she is about to give you. Casey and Tim it was so good to see you again! I love how laid back our sessions are and I love just chilling with your guys for a bit to capture your little gal.

Here is another fantastic family I met this weekend! This session was as first for me. It was in the RAIN. Yep, the min we got started the little drizzle started then the drops came and then the rain. We were downtown where there was enough cover from trees and buildings to allow us to still have the session. No, my camera did not get wet (I know some of you are thinking how did she shoot in the rain). I made sure I was under the cover and when I wasn’t the camera was in my shirt (funny site I am sure).
This family is truly blessed with three amazing, energetic, on the go won’t stop moving children. Literally they did not stop. Any of the images you see out here with them sitting lasted for 2 seconds, if that and I am not joking. It was super fun, though. I enjoyed every min of trying to find a dry spot here and there to capture the kids and then when we were about done they kicked off their shoes (some of them) and played in the water. I love laid back families who know this is just how life is right now. A little tousle of the hair and a little wetness still makes for FABULOUS images!

Jamie, You REALLY are amazing. Our family is extremely energetic and is ALWAYS moving. Thank you for taking these great pictures. As you know with Madeline, it is very difficult to get good shots of her and I think you did great! We will have to schedule another shot again soon… hopefully it won’t be raining so we can get to the other location too!

This weekend I also met this fab family! We watched the ducks, ran all over the grass, checked out the turtles, hung out on the swings and tried to sit for a few images (tried!!). When you have two little ones who are on the go it’s running, jumping and chasing at it’s best! I think we did a pretty good job of capturing their life as they are right now.

This past weekend one beautiful evening I met these two (three) for a little family session and their engagement session! We met where it all began and I took a pic for them where he proposed with the hotel in the background!
They are from out of town but came to KC for this session since this is where it all started and now they reside back in Great Bend, KS where he is a dentist and she is raising their little boy. We captured the family first and what a cutie pie little Copper is! He was so happy to be in the grass and just hanging out with mom and dad. Chad’s sister came along to take over when we were done so we could take off and capture just the two of them.
