This morning in the RAIN! This session was a first for me. I have never shot in the rain and today we did. We got caught in it and just kept going. We were all troopers!!
On two separate occasions I tried to capture my little guy. Kate was along for the second round. Here are just a few of my favorites. My babies are growing up. It’s bitter sweet once again. I LOVE where they are because they amaze me every day, they are the sweetest little kiddos (I know I am bias) and they are at a FUN age. Every now and then I miss them being tiny, though. I won’t get all sad on you because every stage has been great and I am just soaking it all up!!

They met on the golf course. Her parents live on the course, he works on the course and he would see her all the time. He finally called her after a LONG time of waiting. As his best man said. He FINALLY called. Well, here they are as man and wife. I love those two words. God intends us to share life and that is exactly what these two will do. I feel so blessed to know them. They truly are amazing people with the biggest hearts. I had a wonderful time capturing this special day for you and being a part of your life during this time.

We took pictures at their new home, the golf course where they met (even though we were short on time) and they had a plane pick them up at the farm where their reception was held. It was just an amazing day and amazing wedding!
First I need to say Happy Birthday to Jessie. She is the beautiful blonde in these images and the fantastic mother of this sweet little boy and wife to this amazing man. We had to reschedule our session from a couple weeks ago and this was the only day I had open so HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!
The sweet little boy’s grow with me plan has come to an end. As I always say these are bitter sweet for me. Sad because I don’t get to see them as often but sweet because I will see them again when they are a little bigger! This session was a BLAST. Levi was all smiles and every time I would open my mouth up wide so would he. He was cracking me up. I wonder what I looked like on the other side.

Last weekend between all the rain we had I captured this family. Some were in town from CO and so they wanted to capture their entire family. We had a great time hanging out in their backyard and then down their trail to the park where they ended up putting on some red and blue for the end of our session. Okay, some jayhawk attire (those of you who know me know I am purple through and through) . Thank you guys for a wonderful Mother’s Day morning!
