Yesterday I captured a wedding in Lawrence with an amazing couple. They flew off in a plane at sunset! More images to come. Today I had a one year make up session from a couple weeks ago and I just adore this family. I feel so blessed to have known them this past year. The end of grow with me plans are always bitter sweet. Enjoy a couple images from their amazing session this morning.

They met in Manhattan. He would come into the restaurant where she worked to grab a bit to eat. She had her eye on him. He noticed her too. Time passed and he wasn’t calling so one night she put her number into his phone so he would have it just in case he wanted to call. He called and here they are. In love. SO HAPPY! They are going to be married in Dec. downtown and I can’t wait for their wedding. Since their wedding is in the winter and the green is long gone by then they wanted a GREEN engagement session. We had a great time walking the park, hanging out in a tree and just laughing. Their love is evident. Their happiness contagious. Thank you for letting me be a little part of your day Sat and for giving me the honor to capture your wedding.

This past weekend I met this family. If I could use one word to describe them… energy!! I say this in the best light. When you have small children I think this word would describe most families. These two little girls were a ball of energy. My style of photography fit them perfect b/c we just captured life as it happened. Yes, occasionally we try to sit down and get a family picture but most of the time it consists of tickling, laughing, kissing and hugging one another. These are my favorite images!! Life with little ones is so fun and so full of life I love capturing it so thank you guys for allowing me to document this time in your life. They have been waiting. Waiting for her to arrive. Waiting for a sneak peek of her newborn session. Well, she is here AND here are some AMAZING images of little Livia. She was so easy to photograph b/c like most babies under one week old, she SLEPT the entire time. Like I always say, this is the best time to capture new little arrivals. They are perfect little models and she was a perfect little model. Her dad would completely agree!!

She was a little doll. A beautiful little doll. Dad and mom were so proud. They were all smiles and up for anything at our session (even getting pottied on!!). Thank you guys for a fantastic session. I can’t wait to see you guys this fall and to share more life with you over the next two years!!
