Friends. This word sums up these people in our life. Carmen a good friend and fellow photog and I decided to do a little swap. She has NEVER had her family photographed (with her in it) and I need some new head shots and fun shots for my site SO we decided to do a swap. This was the end of our session this evening and I am in love with her couch! Her sweet hubby lugged this out for our session to a corn field. It was a FUN evening with me dancing and singing in the corn field to get all three of her boys (I should say all four) to look in my direction. As a photographer capturing life as it is I am not looking for that perfect smile I just want all heads in my direction for at least one of the pictures (and this was probably the only one with all heads in my direction) so I did a little song and dance!! Her hubby has a new appreciation of our line of work after our shoot! We went to an urban location and the field and I will have more to post later!! For now enjoy this moment b/c it was rare this evening… precious image but rare!! Love you guys!!

If you live in KS…. can you believe the great weather we have had this summer? Well, the morning of this session last week was no exception. It was beautiful out and this family traveled all the way from Ohio for their images. They come to visit family and friends and sneak a photo shoot in while they are here! And you would never guess they had been on vacation for a week either at our session. Honestly, if you have had a session with me you know how your kiddos are mesmerized by my craziness and it works (my silliness and running around) b/c these guys were checking it out and the results are below.
