It was chilly outside but inside little “K’s” home there were smiles all around! This family recently welcomed this precious little girl into their lives and when I say precious I mean PRECIOUS! She was so easy to photograph and mom and dad were a lot of fun too! Not to mention she had the most amazing room and bed I have ever seen. If I had space below I would post all the images I took but there is only room for a few. The bed is in the last image (part of it anyway). The fire place was on. The room/house was toasty (a must for shooting itty bitty babies) and some of these amazing images of her were captured. Thank you for allowing me into your lives Sunday morning. I can’t wait to see you again in May! Enjoy some of my favorites below.

TIPS if you are capturing little ones. Have the room/house very warm. You may sweat but baby will be VERY happy and most of the time content. Make sure baby is well rested before the session and has some food in their tummy. You can use heating pads and space heaters to help with warmth. Just make sure you turn the heating pad off as soon as you lay baby down. If you don’t have a space heater use a blow dryer. They love the white noise sound and the warmth of the air coming from it (do not blow it directly on them.. just near them). These tips are really great for newborn sessions too!

Oh, and for you photogs out there I did not alter her eyes. She was born with these BIG beautiful blue eyes!!! Enjoy!
