Monday evening before all of the rain that decided to pour on us this week I met the Graham family (yes, we have had a yucky weather week here in KS). Let’s just say we had an adventure (a fun one!). We took some family pictures, played on the play ground for a bit and then they had a picnic in the park. What a great day. It’s always an adventure when little ones are involved but we managed to capture a few great images I am sure they will enjoy for a lifetime.

It was so nice to meet all of you! You may remember part of this family from a previous post. We did their family on Sat and then it just happened their extended family session fell a couple days after! Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!

I LOVE this family. They are dear, dear friends of mine. They took good care of me when I was out in CO last weekend and will take good care of me again when I return in 6 weeks!! We are truly blessed to have them in our lives. Joy and I have known each other since 7th grade. Words can’t describe our friendship. We talk daily, weekly and sometimes hourly even though she is miles away. Friends like this are so hard to come by and I thank God every day for what she adds to my life…. Joy, you give me a happy heart!!

Her little kiddos are just a bundle of energy too! They were ALL OVER the place during our session (my kind of session) and we captured some great images of them, her growing family and who they are right now.

Thank you for a FUN weekend. Thank you for all you do for me. We can’t wait for our week in July!! Get ready for more energy to enter your home. My kiddos will be there this time!! Let the fun begin….

Here is another fantastic family I met this weekend! This session was as first for me. It was in the RAIN. Yep, the min we got started the little drizzle started then the drops came and then the rain. We were downtown where there was enough cover from trees and buildings to allow us to still have the session. No, my camera did not get wet (I know some of you are thinking how did she shoot in the rain). I made sure I was under the cover and when I wasn’t the camera was in my shirt (funny site I am sure).

This family is truly blessed with three amazing, energetic, on the go won’t stop moving children. Literally they did not stop. Any of the images you see out here with them sitting lasted for 2 seconds, if that and I am not joking. It was super fun, though. I enjoyed every min of trying to find a dry spot here and there to capture the kids and then when we were about done they kicked off their shoes (some of them) and played in the water. I love laid back families who know this is just how life is right now. A little tousle of the hair and a little wetness still makes for FABULOUS images!
