jacque + jason | we will!

They have been together for 6 years. They are in LOVE and it’s obvious b/c our session was on one of the hottest days here so far and they ROCKED it! We had such a great time. We captured who they are. We made it to our second location with a little detour and we even made a stop for a few cherry limeades when we were done b/c you could ring all of us out! Thank you for being troopers in the heat. Your images turned out AMAZING!! I told you I would post one for you but I couldn’t choose so here are a few of my favs… ENJOY!!

Krista + Kevin | We Will!

Their first “date” or maybe we should say the first time they met was at this coffee house (check out this heart on the latte I ordered – so cute!).
We started off there for our session. They bought me a bag of beans (b/c the way to this girls heart is a nice bag of coffee beans!), we ate a little breakfast and shared our lives for a bit.
When they first met for coffee she was heading off to another State b/c she needed to be based there for her work she does in India (she is one amazing lady, let me tell ya!!). And so it was uncertain if they would keep in touch or start a friendship – but as you can see three years later here they are!! They will start their new life together June 12th of this year and I can’t wait to be a part of their special day.
Check out the wall we ran into when we were downtown! If you know me, we had to stop, take a seat and of course take a picture!

Then the sun was a shining that day which made the cold temp bearable!

Our next stop was the historic downtown. It was a bit cold but we managed to stop at a few places for some pix.
The handsome groom….
The beautiful bride (they are such an adorable couple!!).

Then we found this fish market and I was in heaven! Check out the colors in this place….

And then I saw these mirrors and had them pull over. They both looked at me like I was a little crazy (secretly I am so that is okay…) but look at the result… a FUN image!

Oh, and the shopping cart.. need I say more… IN LOVE!

Then we made a little stop at a place we may get to do wedding images.. super stoked!!

Our next stop was the actual wedding site! Yep, it’s going to be a BEAUTIFUL wedding with fantastic people!

Lastly, we stopped for lunch before I had to head back to the airport and we took a couple more pix… ENJOY and thank you guys for a wonderful day!

I am the brother-in-law of the man in the photos above. He sent me the link and this is how I replied in an email:
“Thanks for sharing this with us. It’s incredibly well done. I also checked out Jamie’s website/blog and enjoyed her commentary on how she made it. It was like watching a great film on DVD and then finding the extra features in which the director gives his commentary on how it was done.”

Wisconsin – we will

This weekend I had a one day trip out to Milwaukee to capture these two FABULOUS people and I had to post a snippet for them! I told them I would post the shopping cart we found but I changed my mind b/c this heart in the fish market was equally great! I will have a FULL sneak peek out later this week so enjoy the image and THANK YOU guys for a wonderful day. The wedding from last week is on deck….

David + Tara | we will | AND off to Mexico!

Love was in the air today! It might have been cold outside and a lot of snow on the ground but LOVE was in the air. I met David and Tara this afternoon at a coffee shop and the track (the running thing is right up my alley so shooting there was so awesome). Here are a few images to tie them over until I return from Mexico.

Yep, I am leaving in a few short hours (well, EARLY in the am) to capture Mindy and Ryan’s wedding. I will not be back to work until next Thursday so if you send me an e-mail or voicemail I will get back to you then. Enjoy the images!! There are many many more to come!

Laura & Drew | we will!

I met this girl almost a year ago. It was a Monday morning and we had just started up our bible study for the year. There sat Laura this young girl with her whole future ahead of her. I say that because in our group we are all moms with small children so it was refreshing to have her young spirit at our table. We got to know each other over the year and she started babysitting for me so I could get work done and have date nights with my hubby. Then she met Drew. She met him at church too and well, the rest is history. They are getting married in Seattle this fall. I will not be able to shoot the wedding but I was able to capture their engagement and what a FUN session it was. They were up for anything! The funny part is we got lost b/c the exit I normally take was closed downtown so we ended up in this part of downtown (new to me) and we all fell in LOVE.

Thank you guys for a fantastic session. Enjoy a few of my favorites below and a few more HERE in their sneak peek slide show!
