These two met in Denver while “M” was there for a sports camp. He saw her again from across the room and recognized her from college. They both went to Wyoming for school and met up again after all these years. Well, the rest is history! They are getting married in a couple months. I will be flying to Wyoming in Aug to shoot their wedding and I am so excited to capture this time for them. My cousin has been through so much in the past few months. He had another stroke in his short 30 years of life (he had his first one 7 years ago). They don’t know why he had another one but it shut his entire left side of his body down for a while. He went to Mayo and they still don’t have answers. We are just praying God takes care of him and brings answers soon! He was able to make the trip for the pictures and we felt very blessed for this. I made their wedding invitations and RSVP cards, so we are very thankful he was able to make it here b/c there images are all over the invites and card (they are very cool… I love it when people go outside the box for things!).
While in town his sisters and parents came along and we captured all of their families too! Those sessions are coming up. My cousin Shalee Lehning (for all you K-State basketball fans out there) was able to make it for some pictures too! She has her picture on posters and all over TV for her ability to play some good ball, but this time we captured her without her gear on!
Enjoy the images and slide show HERE!!. We had so much fun with this session down in Wichita, KS. After the session was over “M” says to me… I have been dreading this for months (he is a typical guy who doesn’t like to get his pix taken) and this was so FUN! It went so fast and you made it so easy. He then asks me where I get all my ideas of all the crazy things I ask them to do?? I don’t plan things, I just show up and see what I have to work with and just go with it! I have a general idea of what I want my clients to do and if I have been to the place before I have an idea of lighting and where to go for the best shots. But this was a first time for me in Wichita, so I just had to go with what was there and it worked out great!!
