January 28th, 2010Someone is TWO!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of finishing up this little guys baby package. Yes, he is no longer a baby but my package has a few options and one is to capture newborn, 6mths, 1 year and 2 yrs of age. It’s sad to see them go but with another little sister on the way (congrats Carrie!!) I hope to see them for a few more years!
We had a great time just letting Drew do his thing. And what is his thing you may ask… well, be 2 and he was good at it! He loves balls, books and just getting into things. It was fun to just hang out and capture his life. Thank you guys for another fabulous session! I will have the rest of your proofs out very soon. Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!

January 10th, 2010had to post a few more
When I am editing a session I quickly go through my images super fast, choose a few favorites, edit them and then make a sneak peek for my clients to see the day of or day after their session. Well, sometimes I do this so fast I miss a few I want to share (if my blog could hold all of my images from a session I would post them all out here.. but I have to choose). I had to post this series! I am telling you from the day I started taking her pictures she has always been this happy (mom even told me they had a sleepover the night before with family and were up until 11:00 pm). Now this is one happy girl, sleep or no sleep!
Enjoy her cuteness! I am posting these in order. I turned around and she was on the couch with her fun hat on and ready for me to take her picture (I was working with her baby sister at the moment but quickly jumped into the room to get these….).
And for all of you photogs out there these are almost straight from camera and all shot wide open with my 50mm/1.2 lens. All I did was sharpen them a bit, touch up the dry skin, add a touch of brightness and walla. I love it when I can get it right in camera!!

January 10th, 2010sisters | little ones + little bit bigger ones
I just ADORE this family and what better way to spend a 5 degree day! I have known them since Abbey (their first born) was 3 months old. In a few short weeks she will be 3! Her little sister is 6 months old and just as cute as they come. They are the happiest little girls. They are always smiling and in the best moods. When I arrived Abbey decided it was time to do some art projects. I asked her if she could draw me “I can’t draw you”. Well, how about a circle “okay”. The first shots are of her doing just this (I love these!!). Then little Ella got to make her debut. She hung out on the couch and her big sis just had to be near her. We took lots of images of them together, hugging, kissing, looking at each other and Abbey taking off her hat (hiding it) and reading books to her (oh and playing her air guitar when we turned on some dance music..you have to watch the slide show for this image!). Let’s just say I always have lots of ideas running through my head for sessions but this little girl came up with all of these on her own. I just let her take the lead and I captured it! I think Ella is going to be in good hands as she grows up.
Thank you guys for another fantastic session. We will continue to pray for you during your journey with Ella! I can’t wait to see you this summer and to capture where you are in your life then. Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE in your sneak peek slide show!

How beautiful to show the real beauty in a family struggling with some obstacles for now. Great love in those pictures.

November 10th, 2009Beautiful kiddos!
All I can say is BEAUTIFUL. These two kiddos are beautiful inside and out! I am working on your sneak peek as I type and had to post a couple images b/c they are just so great (and I miss blogging!!). I can’t wait (as I say in most of my posts) to post my fall sessions soon! Fall is coming to an end (7 more portrait sessions for me this year and 2 weddings) so I will have a break soon and will be able to share some fun stuff from the past couple months!
Enjoy!
