It’s funny as I type little bit bigger ones because it seems like yesterday she was an itty bitty baby! Time sure does fly. We are feeling it around here with our youngest in kindergarten this year (sniff) and our little gal going next year. They grow so fast so we need to capture these little moments and freeze them in time. Kya was one of my many sessions back home a couple weeks ago. Here mommy and I go way back and it’s always a pleasure to see them and capture these moments for their family. Thanks again for another fabulous session! Enjoy a few of my favorites…..

Sydney is 4! I love this little girl. There is never a dull moment at our sessions. I have been capturing her since she was itty bitty and I can’t believe how big she is. I love hanging out with these little people and documenting where they are in their life. Each year I get to see how much they have changed and have so much fun with them. Once I spend a few years with them they remember me which is so great and they want to tell me all about their life. I have pictures from some, they send me cards, some want to leave the session and come home with me, some want me to transport them if we use more than one location and the list goes on. Let’s just say I love what I do! I love stopping time with my camera for a brief moment and giving parents images that will last for a lifetime!

The shoot at my house this week was a success! I guess when you have 4 ADORABLE kiddos to work with it makes it that much easier. I have never done this before (besides shooting babies in my office against the wall with fabulous light and another baby in my dining room). We have a pretty neutral home with great natural light so I thought I might give it a try with the little ones since it was so cold outside and it worked! Now, I still prefer on location shoots, at your home with all of your stuff or outside with all of God’s stuff and the stuff you bring along to make the shoot your own, but it worked!
