This duo and I had a great time down in the West Bottoms last week. I had to keep reminding myself they were only kiddos too:) and good kiddos at that. They met me at my house and I drove them downtown for an hour of fun. Thank you guys for a great session! “J” I am finally done editing! I read your comment on your sneak peek and the wait is over. This little gal will make you smile so you have to watch the slide show at the end. She was a little uneasy when we first arrived at the park but once she warmed up she was ready for some picture taking. We walked the trail, hung out by the pond and lily pads and played at the park. She was sweet. That is the main word that comes to mind when I see her. She had a sweet personality and a sweet temper about her the entire time. I think she gets it from her mom. I knew her mom back in my college days (one of the sweetest people you will meet). She lived in the house next to me. I haven’t seen her since college but I have taken pictures for a few friends and so we were able to meet up again.

Another reason I love my job! I get to see old friends and reconnect. Thank you so much for spending the evening with me and letting me capture your little girl. It was nice to see you again and meet your husband. Enjoy your images and slide show HERE!

It might have been one of our hottest days but these two did not disappoint! We went to the park and well, as you can see the rest is history. They don’t live in KC but were here for a short visit so we fit them in and captured some great images. I can’t wait to talk to mom b/c I already have an idea of how she can display some of these. I posted one below with the little guy and I think those images would be great on canvas as 10×20′s side by side or in print with a backing. There are so many good ones it’s going to be hard to decide what to print:)! Oh, and check out the little man. He just learned to walk two days before our session. We captured some more if his first steps.

You just know when you meet someone and you fall for them. Well how can you not fall for this little guy??? You have seen him here before several times and now our time is coming to an end (our baby package time:)!). He is one! He is in love with his tongue too. It was out most of the session but he is so cute it doesn’t matter that it showed up in most of his pix!

This is another one of my favorite families. They are great people and if it wasn’t for “E” and his Runner’s Edge program here in KC I may not have met my husband. We met 6 years ago training for the Boston Marathon and the rest is history (yes, we both ran it back in 2003 and hope to do it again someday when the kids are older!!). So, these people are special! They are great friends too and it’s always a pleasure to be around them. If you are a runner and need to stay in shape, get back in shape or want to train with some fun people for your next big race you need to check out his group. It’s a lot of fun (link above)!!

This was my last home town session. This is a dear friend of mine. We go WAY back. To the days of laying out in our backyards to catch rays of sun, running track on the high school varsity team when we were only freshman in junior high, college days, lots of laughter and tears and now we are all grown up and have families of our own. Life sure goes by fast but when you have good friends to share it with it makes it that much better!

Little “R” was all smiles this summer. She was all smiles last summer but she was ready to have some fun this year and that we did. She was so great and we got some great images. I can’t wait to make you a fun, bold & colorful Christmas card!! Thanks for hanging out while I was back home. I am thankful for you and your friendship. You truly are a blessing in my life….
