A few days ago I mentioned posting, for those of you who have inquired about “my bag”, what was in the bag (or should I say bags). Here is a list of what I use. I will be purchasing a bigger bag soon to hold everything…. a think tank bag. I can’t wait to have one home for everything. I also want to say thank you to Rebecca a fellow photographer/friend here in KC for her help too! She has been an instrumental part in getting to where I am today so THANK YOU, friend!

Here is a fun image from a mini shoot yesterday (and our FABULOUS weather!) with the gal who designed my new branding. Her new website is coming out in the next few months so we had a little session to get a head shot. She is a graphic designer and I am so glad we are neighbors!! Now, all the kiddos were around and her littlest joined us in the end. It’s such a fun image I think it will have to be on the site somewhere!

Oh, I had to add one more of our family from last weekend. It’s not that often I am in a picture and I have been out here twice this week! After this week I won’t talk about the birthday party anymore, promise. At our house you decorate the week before and celebrate for a few weeks, so it’s only fair that I still talk about it. When “K” gets older and reads this blog she will love that we are still talking about it!

As you might have noticed my blog looks a little different. This is one of the fun changes for 2009. If you look at my header at the top it flashes now (FUN!!) and my new brand is being displayed. A neighbor of mine designed it for me and I swapped out a photo shoot for her work so you will get to meet her and her family next summer! Stay tuned for more changes. The tweaks are still being made, so that is why it looks a little different.

Happy New Year! It’s time for another amazing year to start with new adventures, dreams and possibilities!! All of these could not or should I say would not be possible without my family, friends, clients and all of you faithful blog readers. I am very excited for what is in store in ’09 and I can’t wait to share all of it with you!!

Thank you for all of the love out here (the comments you leave), the e-mails and messages I receive all year long. I am truly blessed with the most amazing clients. My love for photography would not be possible without you. Thank you to my dear husband, my best friend, for being the secretary (he will laugh at this b/c this is his title on all of our corporation papers…LOL), and helping us run a business. For keeping the family in tact when I am super swamped and or shooting a wedding all day on a Sat. Thank you to all of my friends who put up with my craziness and who are there for me through thick and thin (I love you all and thank you for all of your ears and shoulders this year!).
