October 13th, 2009busy season is HERE!

It’s here! It’s fall and things are busy. We love it but the poor blog site is being neglected. I will post as soon as I can. Your sneak peeks are in your in boxes with your fabulous slide shows. I will be OOT until Monday afternoon. I will be shooting a wedding and a few portrait sessions this weekend. Thanks you for all of your patience on your proofs and orders while I am gone. I will return all e-mails and voicemails when I return.

When people ask me what my style of photography is I tell them: photo journalistic/ lifestyle portraiture. My brides choose me b/c they love my style. They love my work and feel confident I will be the best for their wedding to capture them for who they are and bring out the best qualities in them (in front of camera). This is how I want my portrait clients to choose me, as well. I want them to choose me b/c I will bring out the best in them, their family and let them be who they are the day of their session. I am not about stress. I am not about the perfect shot. I want clients who view custom photography the same way I do… FUN, living day to day life in front of my camera for the time we are together. I love having fun with people, sharing life with them, capturing them being silly, being serious and just being who they are. This family knew I would be the perfect fit for them and we were! She also created my brand and did a fabulous job!!

Enjoy the images!! Enjoy my style of photography. Enjoy their time in front of the camera.

June 23rd, 2009health update

I am out of the hospital. I was one sick gal. I couldn’t keep anything down for three days. so Friday my doctor admitted me. I am doing much better, resting and recovering at home now. I want to say thank you to all of you who have helped our family this past week. Your prayers, food, care for my kiddos, love and support means so much to us. I am very blessed!

Maggie and Alan, I will have a sneak peek out soon. I am slowly making my way back to the computer. Thank you for understanding!! I am getting back to e-mail and orders, as well. If you placed an order in the past week I will get to it soon. Again, thank you all for your patience and understanding. Have a happy week!!

June 19th, 2009very sick

I am very sick. I have a bad case of the stomach flu (no need for details). I will get sneak peeks, orders and proofs out as soon as I return to normal. I have been to the doctor twice now in the past two days and if I have to go back in today they may admit me. Pray for healing of my body. I am not a fan of being sick.
