Senior 2009

WOW! That is all I can say about this gal. She will graduate in 2009 and there are big things in her future. We had the best time last weekend hanging out, looking for great spots to capture who she is! The light was unbelievable and as a photographer I could have eaten it up. “E”, thank you so much for the great time. I absolutely LOVE shooting seniors. I love getting to know them and living their life for a brief moment.

Enjoy your sneak peek and a FEW MORE HERE!! I went over board. I said I would give you about 20 images to look at, well there are 40 and this is just a little snippet of what we got. Enjoy the rest of your year! It was so nice to meet you and your mom. Thank you for allowing me to capture this time in your life!

“K” senior 2009

“K’s” senior year is coming up and we had a great session a couple weeks ago. She and her mom drove all the way from Great Bend, KS for our session. We had a great time. They met me at my home and I drove them all over KC! They are some of the nicest people. I love it when I get to drive my clients b/c I really get to know them. I think “K” would make a great Buckle model too. She sported their clothes well. I know one of the Regional Managers (shooting their images in a few weeks!!) and I will put a plug in!

Thank you guys for a great session. Thank you for making the trip here for your images and spending the afternoon with me. Enjoy your slide show HERE!!

Very nice job, Jamie! You rocked this session and so did she! My favorite (you guessed it) … the fourth image down – love the backlighting on her hair!

Senior Year 2008

This weekend I had the opportunity to work with “S” and her family to capture her senior images. Yes, this post is a quick one since I just shot her this weekend, BUT she graduates in less than a month and needs her images (now!!). It usually takes me a good 6-8 hours (or more) to edit seniors and I found those hours over the last two days to get these done for her.

It was so nice to meet all of you! Sam had her sisters (and mom) along for the sessions yesterday. We had a great time creating these memories. I love how they all wore bright colors to start with. Colors are my favorite to work with. Now don’t get me wrong, simple and classic are up there too but if you are going to do clothing changes you def need to add some color in at least one of your outfits! It photographs so well and just pops! As you can see in these images… they pop with color! Being true to who you are is most important, though. Wearing what makes you feel good will make your images look fabulous.

You guys were so fun to work with. Thanks for being creative with me! Enjoy your images and sneak peek slide show HERE! Congratulations on all your graduations. “S” have fun at KU next year!

Hi- I just stumbled across your blog through another photographer’s site (Rebecca Peters) and your images are amazing! The color and contrast are so crisp, I love it.
I’m new at the whole photography thing but hopefully my pictures turn out as amazing as yours one day :)

sisters

I am off to bed, but had to post an image of my senior I shot today. Her two older sisters came along for the fun (b/c sessions with me are FUN!) and they are both graduating this year (from college) so we thought it would be neat to do some images of all three of them (since this is a big year for all of them!). I had another session this morning with two more sisters (a lot younger, but just as cute!). The sneak peeks will be out later this week….. enjoy!

Senior Year 2008

On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting “K” and part of her family. We had a great session down in the City Market. I just love that place! “K” was beautiful! We even snapped a few with sis too and she was just as beautiful. They were up for anything so we walked the market and found all the great spots. We were blessed with great weather and lots of sunshine. There were a few clouds in the air and we would wait for Mr. Sun to hide behind one of them and then we would go into a spot that was full sun and try to take a few shots until he popped back out. That was just one of the many ways we took the images on Friday! Thanks for being a trooper and doing everything I asked. Your images are AMAZING! ENJOY and I had so much fun with you guys…. your sneak peek slide show is HERE!
