Happy Family!

I am sure you have heard the saying “One big happy family”. Well, this sums up these guys to a “T”. They are two fantastic photographers here in KC, as well. The images below show it all. They also have another blog where they have started something really great (you have to check it out to see!). I am so thankful our paths crossed a few months ago and we were able to capture each others families. They have three of the happiest kiddos and we had a great time running around in capes made by a friend of theirs (each had a letter on the back with their initial), writing with sidewalk chalk, running in circles (the name of their blog) AND seeing who could stuff the most marshmallows in their mouth (chubby bunnies!!). It was just a great evening with a great family.

Thank you guys for sharing life with us! We can’t wait to do it again. Next time we are heading to the pool with pizza!!

Paula + Mike | we did!

Last Sat. I had the honor to capture another fabulous couple!! It was a BEAUTIFUL day with a beautiful couple. I love being a part of a wedding where they treat me like family. And this group did just that!

I had so much fun capturing their love. These two are so in love and every moment you will see shows just how happy and in love they are! Thank you for choosing me to capture every detail of your day. It was a blessing to be a part of your wedding and I wish you many happy blessings in the years to come. Paula is a kindergarten teacher so she rented a BUS to take the wedding party and friends around in for the pictures (super fun!!). ENJOY!

Christina + Nick | we did | KC Wedding Photographer

Last week I had the honor to work with these two phenomenal people! They are so in love and capturing their wedding was pure joy. Every time they look at each other it is magical! I LOVE working with people who just connect and these two just connected! They are two of the most beautiful people inside and out and their images show every bit of this. Their wedding party was top notch too and when I say top notch I mean it in every way. They treated me like I was one of the party and I just love that! They were simply amazing even in 90 degree weather for April (driving around in a trolley with no air!!).

I will let the images tell their story but I want to say THANK YOU for choosing me to capture this time in your life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU! I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon :) .

let’s play ball! | kansas city child photographer

Yep, I knew this would happen. A little downtime. A little time to recoup for the spring season… leads to a little neglect of the blog. Let’s face it, I am not very good at keeping this thing up to date. Therefore, I am going to “try” to put my images I would post on facebook first out here then link them back to FB. We will see if this helps keep this place a little fresher! I have so many sessions in the archives from the past year that I was hoping to get a few of those out here but it looks like they may not make appearances due to time. I have said this in the past but if your session doesn’t make it out here no worries. It has nothing to do with you, it has everything to do with me (it’s called time!).

We have had some crazy KS weather lately (nothing new to those of you who live in this part of the world) which made me move a bunch of sessions. This gave me time to work on my new online ordering system (still in the works) and more time to rest up before my long late nights start up again. Enough about me and the blog neglect here is one of my first sessions of all the reschedules and I had to post this before their ordering session b/c this series just make me smile. They brought his favorite blue ball to our session. We played with it the entire time and I love the results!! There are many more but I am going to let these hold them over until their proofs are ready to view.

If you read my last post I still have a little something in the works that I hope to share soon! I am trying to come up with a name for it and then it will be ready for it’s reveal!

Enjoy this little guy! He will put a smile on your face!
