I have been capturing a lot of seniors lately (and I LOVE it!!). It takes me back to my senior year in my small town. Well, lately I have had the honor to capture a few girls who grew up in my small town. Kenna just happens to be one of those girls. They moved to KC a couple years ago and so we had a few things to chat about at our session. Big city verses small town and all sorts of other girlie things. My job can make me feel like a kid again and I love that!! I love spending time with these young hearts and capturing these memories for them. I captured her brother last year if you remember the guy on top of the basketball goal??? This year it was her turn and the images below will tell her story. Thank you Kenna for a fantastic session!! Enjoy…

September 12th, 2010a few sneak peeks from the weekend
I love this time of year. The crisp air in the morning then a little heat in the afternoon and the cool evenings. I wish it would stay like this!! With the change in temps means fall sessions are in full force, another favorite time of year! I get to meet so many new faces, see a lot of old friends/clients and capture seniors for their year! And all of this makes my heart happy. Here are a few sneak peeks from this weekend. I am still working on one of my favorite little 2 yr olds who I captured this evening. Enjoy! More to come….

September 9th, 2010Paula + Mike | we will!
They met 20 years ago. They were in the same band class. To shy to speak to one another he wrote her love letters but they never spoke. Two years ago while on face book Paula saw his name on a friends wall. She asked him to be friends. He accepted. After 20 years they are getting married so in love and in aw of each other STILL. Only this time, they are not afraid to talk to each other. I love their story. It made me smile not only b/c it was such a great story but b/c it was Paula, our Paula. She has been helping me out in the summers for two years now so I can capture all of you out there and we just think the world of her. My husband and I always joke we should pay her to watch our kids b/c she is a kindergarten teacher and is SO GOOD with them.
Our Paula is getting married to a WONDERFUL guy. They are perfect for each other. A match made in heaven. God really had a plan with these two, don’t ya think??? Paula and Mike, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this time in your life. I am so honored to be a part of it and to be a part of something so special. You two are so in love and the images below tell your story of your love for each other. Enjoy and I can’t wait for next April!!!
and if this wasn’t enough of a peek HERE IS THEIR SLIDE SHOW OF MORE!!! ENJOY!!
