Last weekend when I was back home for a wedding I met up with Molly to capture her senior year. She is such a natural beauty and we had a great time checking out Great Bend! She and her mom scouted out some great spots before I arrived. My favorite was her uncles farm! I really had a nice time with you guys. I enjoyed getting back to my roots (my dad grew up on a farm and we spent our childhood on it too) and the windy midwest! If you guys thought the wind here was bad yesterday you have never been to Great Bend. Enjoy a few of my favorites. Enjoy your senior year!!

This morning I met up with another one of my favorite families. Their little gal is 10 months old now and almost walking. Here is a little peek for you guys (FYI there are SO MANY amazing images I just took one from the beginning of our session b/c these sneak peeks are so hard to do when you have to pick just one favorite). THANK YOU for making the trip to the park. It was SO GOOD to see you again.

Happy Sunday! Even though it’s another cold, winter day here it’s still sunny and that makes it happy. Also, spending time with family and friends on a sunny day makes it happy too! So…. HAPPY SUNDAY!

I ended up with one session this weekend b/c the other family had a sick little one with an eye infection. No worries, though. We rescheduled and are praying for this warm weather to stick around and you will see the little guy soon! I did have a fun session downtown yesterday with a little one year old and her family. Here is a little peak of what is to come later….. Enjoy!

Oh, and I have been getting e-mails regarding “what is in your bag” – for all of you non photogs out here this means what do you shoot with. I will do a post and list my items soon! All of my sessions posted last week and this one were shot with my 50mm/1.2L lens and I shot all sessions wide open!

Okay, for all of you who subscribe (you can do this by clicking the subscribe link at the top and walla every time I post you will get an e-mail!!) I am SORRY for inundating your in box with e-mails!! I haven’t been categorizing my posts lately (I just forget) and when someone new wants to look at something they can go to the bottom and scroll through each category to see older posts and find what they are looking for. Well, my last few (okay TON) posts weren’t an any category and I want to make it easy for people to search for what they want to see instead of scrolling through all 263 posts out here.

SO I had to update these and every time I put a post into a category it sent you an e-mail… so sorry!! I know what it’s like to get e-mails you don’t want so just delete them and please forgive me!

For all you photogs out there Canon just announced the new 5D Mark II camera!! Some of us have been waiting years for this and its here!!!! The 5D body was the only DSLR camera body that has never had an upgrade. If you want to see all the specs check it out here!! Now the decision is to buy this or the EOS 1Ds Mark III?!?! Decisions.. decisions…. I am just excited the wait is over…..

More posts coming. I have been feeling a little icky the past few days and that is when I know rest is needed so I don’t get full blown sick. Your sneak peeks are coming, slide shows are coming, Christmas card drafts and collage samples are all on their way oh, and if you placed an order this week I hope to get to all of those this evening!! Thanks for your patience.

Oh, If I have some time I have some fun pictures of our pumpkin patch to post too! We grew pumpkins this year and they turned out great. We need to have a pumpkin patch party in our neighborhood! We have the best neighbors! Everyone is so fun and friendly and we feel very blessed to be where we are. The kids have tons of new friends to ride bikes with in the evenings (and jump ramps… yes, they are 2 and 4 but they jump a bike ramp and I think my little 2 year olds training wheels will be off before her brothers!!), play with whenever there is a dull moment and I even have a new friend who is designing a new brand for me!! I can’t wait to share my new look with you guys. Thanks for taking the time to read the blog…. off to rest for a bit so I don’t get sick…

I design collages, custom cards, baby announcements and pretty much anything you can dream up I might be able to do it! I don’t post many of these items b/c of time (for instance I worked on 2 Christmas cards last night and 2 12×12 collages….what you can do with your images is endless!!).

Today you get to see one of my latest creations b/c mom and I are having a hard time getting the attachment to go through her e-mail. So the blog is a great place for her to see it! This is one of the seniors I did shot this summer and what a great way to get a few of your images in one place… ENJOY!

the flu….

Well, i haven’t posted in a few days b/c our entire family has the nasty flu. You should see our living room… If I had the engergy I would take a picture (we have a large couch and we are all on it!!). Thank you for wondering where I have been… I will be back! I had a great session this weekend, one earlier this week and I have a huge family session on Friday! Lots of great stuff coming…. we are just trying to get better over here, first!!

Oh, I hope you are enjoying this great spring like weather we have today and did I read the weather right…. 61 tomorrow!! WOW, is spring upon us?!?!? For those of you reading who don’t live in the Midwest we have been in the 20′s and 30′s now for quite some time! 61 degrees makes me smile… I wish we would have had 61 last weekend for “S’s” senior session. We had to bare the cold again:)! The shots are still amazing, but it was another cold one!!
