Luke | newborn session

It might have been chilly outside on Sunday but inside this home (another one of my favorite families) was a little guy waiting to make his first modeling debut! And a debut he made (along with his two older sisters). Mom had done exactly what I told her to do. Make sure the house is warm (we may sweat but the baby will be cozy). Make sure he is fed right before I get there so he has a full belly. When I got there I got my things ready, warmed up a blanket with a heating pad (make sure you turn it off before you lay baby on it) and walla we had a wonderful session. The little guy slept the entire time. I had a feeling he would b/c he was born at 35 weeks so this was really his 36th week of life. But for being so small he was the perfect little guy. He even let his sisters hold him, grandma and mom during the session without blinking an eye. NOW you will see a shot below with his eyes open (I LOVE IT b/c it was the ONLY ONE I got of his eyes) but don’t let looks deceive you, he was dreaming and they popped open for me for a sec.

Thank you for letting me come at his early age. Newborns are best two weeks and below b/c they are still in the molding, sleepy stage and they let you work with them without much of a fuss. Enjoy a few of my favorites and a few more HERE!. I will see you guys again this fall when he is 6 months old!!
