April 23rd, 2010Krista + Kevin | We Will!
Their first “date” or maybe we should say the first time they met was at this coffee house (check out this heart on the latte I ordered – so cute!).
We started off there for our session. They bought me a bag of beans (b/c the way to this girls heart is a nice bag of coffee beans!), we ate a little breakfast and shared our lives for a bit.
When they first met for coffee she was heading off to another State b/c she needed to be based there for her work she does in India (she is one amazing lady, let me tell ya!!). And so it was uncertain if they would keep in touch or start a friendship – but as you can see three years later here they are!! They will start their new life together June 12th of this year and I can’t wait to be a part of their special day.
Check out the wall we ran into when we were downtown! If you know me, we had to stop, take a seat and of course take a picture!

Then the sun was a shining that day which made the cold temp bearable!

Our next stop was the historic downtown. It was a bit cold but we managed to stop at a few places for some pix.
The handsome groom….
The beautiful bride (they are such an adorable couple!!).
Then we found this fish market and I was in heaven! Check out the colors in this place….

And then I saw these mirrors and had them pull over. They both looked at me like I was a little crazy (secretly I am so that is okay…) but look at the result… a FUN image!
Oh, and the shopping cart.. need I say more… IN LOVE!
Then we made a little stop at a place we may get to do wedding images.. super stoked!!
Our next stop was the actual wedding site! Yep, it’s going to be a BEAUTIFUL wedding with fantastic people!
Lastly, we stopped for lunch before I had to head back to the airport and we took a couple more pix… ENJOY and thank you guys for a wonderful day!

I am the brother-in-law of the man in the photos above. He sent me the link and this is how I replied in an email:
“Thanks for sharing this with us. It’s incredibly well done. I also checked out Jamie’s website/blog and enjoyed her commentary on how she made it. It was like watching a great film on DVD and then finding the extra features in which the director gives his commentary on how it was done.”

April 19th, 2010Christi + Mike | WE DID!!
I can’t tell you how much I loved being a part of this wedding. For starters they were the most LAID back people I have ever met which made for an INCREDIBLE day. They were up for anything and the day was simply amazing. They were married in Manhattan, KS. They met there and will start their new life there. I could keep writing but I will let the images below tell their story. Thank you Christi and Mike for letting me be a part of your day. Your family was truly amazing and your friends made me feel part of the wedding. I love sharing days like this when you get to capture the magic and be a part of it!
Enjoy and keep scrolling b/c I am sharing a ton!! To see more of their day click here!
