I love the little ones so tiny and new. This little guy was precious. He showed up to my office studio and from the min he arrived never made a peep. Enjoy his peacefulness!

I met Amanda and Darren last weekend before our 74 degree days hit this past week (which melted all of our snow) and we had a fantastic session in it!! I love their energy and love for each other. These images capture their love story and I can’t wait to capture more of their life together later this year. Thank you for making the trip to KC for our session. Thank you for being troopers in the cold, wet snow!!

February 6th, 2011Valentines Day…is around the corner!
Valentines Day is around the corner! I have a really hard time keeping pictures a secret but I am trying to keep these two little peoples valentines secret until they can pass them out at school. We like to take a lot of pictures at the Miller house and we got a little creative for this special day! Once we get the fun treats/cards to school I will post the fun we had. On another note we are gearing up for spring and booking spring sessions. If you want to get in front of my camera to freeze a few moments in time this spring send us a note!

January 27th, 2011Hello 2011!
Hello winter! Hello all of you who follow my neglected blog! It’s winter and a time for me to reflect, see what changes need to be made, attend workshops to better my skills and revamp for 2011!! I am working on a new online ordering system “red cart” that I think you will find SUPER easy to use. I can’t wait to get it up and running. I have new inspirations for this year and can’t wait to try them out this spring/summer when the shooting really starts up again. I am going to work with a few more labs this year to offer MORE to you in terms of products! Let’s just say 2011 is looking to be a FANTASTIC year and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. My goal is to keep you updated with new pix, news and me!
A post is not complete without an image or two so I am sharing my little baby with you. Well, as you can see she is not a little baby anymore b/c she just turned 5!! We are entering a new season here at the Miller house with a 5 and 6 year old and are loving every bit of it. Enjoy our little firecracker b/c we sure do.

January 12th, 2011Happy Winter + Out of the Office!!
Yes, I am still here!! I haven’t posted much out here on the ol’ bloggity blog BUT facebook sure is hopping with bits and pieces of my life + sessions + anything you might like to know about JMI!
On another note, I will be heading to Imaging USA in Texas this weekend through part of next week! I am super excited for this learning experience and to connect with so many of you I have been getting to know through facebook and all the social media we have at our fingertips these days. With that said, I will be out of the office Friday afternoon through Wed. Jan 19th. I will return all voice mails/emails at that time.
It is cold here in KS and with the cold comes snow every now and then and with the snow usually brings SNOW DAYS! Yep, we had two this week so we headed out for a little sledding. Enjoy!
