Last week I had the opportunity to capture this little guy again! I can’t believe he is already 8 mths. It seems like yesterday we were doing mom’s maternity session. Well, I showed up and he was ready for his pictures this time. The norm for little “A” is to look at me square in the face with a very serious look and just stare. This time his little personality decided to peek through some of the stares… and my camera was ready! The images are great, you guys are great and I can’t wait to see you again this summer! By then he will be talking (just kidding) and telling me why he thinks the big black thing in his face is fun to give all those stares too.
On another note my last sentence brings me to a funny thought or a tangent I just had to share….(yes, brace yourselves….). 10 years from now when I am photographing these little peanuts I wonder what they will tell me. Will they still think I am as crazy as ever running around with my camera trying to capture little pieces of their lives? Will they remember me from the years of capturing little peices of their lives and turning them into memories? Or will they still stare at me when I bring out the big black thing “the camera” or will they play along and give mom, dad, grandma & grandpa those great looks, interesting faces and those moments you just have to get on print? I can’t wait to see what happens in the years to come with all these babies and what they will be like years from now…. Every time I leave a photo session I feel very blessed to have the job I have. I thank God for letting me share my passion and my ife with them and I just pray I can continue for years to come to give people little pieces of their life they can cherish and keep forever…. even with the stares from 8 mth olds and the moments people have no idea I am capturing…. life is meant to be captured and I am so blessed to be able to capture it for so many people……
Until next time… enjoy the images and thank you for another fantastic session! (your slide show is HERE!)
