It was cold. She is THREE. She had to wear the pink shirt she wore for this morning’s session for this afternoons (even though I had an entirely different shirt for the second outfit). You don’t argue with a three year old when you want a picture without red eyes and a runny nose. You give in even though you are the mom and let her wear the pink shirt and you give her Hershey’s kisses by the bag and white mints to make her even want to get in front of the camera. A bow made it to her head and stayed in (she is not a fan of having anything in her hair). No, we did not spend the entire day taking pictures (even though it felt like it). We spent minutes this morning b/c she wasn’t’ into it (I AM HER MOM and playing games in the cold isn’t her idea of fun and making leaf hats in the cold wasn’t her idea of fun and she kept looking at me like who are you and where is my mom) and a good 15 min this afternoon after her much needed LONG nap AND we got THESE AMAZING IMAGES!! amen. life is good.
This was my day in a nutshell. These are the images. I LOVE my job. I love what I do BUT I see why people hire photographers. Which I may have to do one day. My kids know me but they would rather have me hold their hand, hug them while we are trying to get a picture, kiss me in the middle of a session. They don’t want to run away from me and have fun, they want to be ON me or hugging me.
Enjoy the images!! I know I am biased but she is one cutie patootie and I love every bit of her and even though it was like pulling teeth today the results are amazing and my little spitfire did a GREAT job!
I have 4 sessions coming up this weekend so stay tuned for some more fun stuff!
